THE RAGING THERAPIST
“The Raging Therapist? Aren’t therapists, of all people, supposed to have control over themselves?” - a person on the internet.
Someone once said this in response to one of my TikTok videos. It gave me a chuckle because it brought to mind all the inherent misconceptions we have both as individuals and as a society. About emotions, about people, about therapists; about how we should or shouldn’t be, feel or shouldn’t feel, behave or shouldn’t behave. The unseen, unspoken, expectations we have and carry.
The birth of The Raging Therapist was an act of rebellion against those ideas. It was born out of a desire to give a voice to those who are being hurt by harmful, misguided, societal ideals. It encompasses a deep passion and need to walk through the world with folx who feel lost, pressured, disconnected, numb, confused, angry, fearful, worried, disempowered, and just plain ‘stuck’. It empowers women to speak their truths, it invites men to be curious about what lingers behind rage, it unburdens people from the pressure to “behave” or “act” in a certain way. It supports all folx in finding ourselves within a chaotic and unpredictable world.

A BIT ABOUT MY PRACTICE
My practice represents growth, exploration, pain, connection, curiosity, freedom, safety, validation, rebellion, expression, and support. It stands for autonomy and freedom: for those who need help finding their voice, changing their voice, amplifying their voice, exploring their voice, or figuring out their voice. It’s about seeing your pain, sitting with it, being curious about it, and healing from it.
I’ve always felt different. A bit of an outlier. And I love that. I love that I’m unabashedly myself and that self is cool, bold, fierce, passionate, nerdy, interesting, and driven. So, as you probably guessed, therapy with me is a little weird, casual, curious, understanding, open, and a little different.
I use a variety of tools but I am mainly a person-centered, anti-oppressive, therapist with a fiercely feminist lens sprinkled with some narrative practices.
Come explore your mind, your beliefs, your thoughts, your world, and yourself with me. I promise it’ll be different than anything you’ve ever experienced.
